July 2009

Dear Jess,

Remember those freezing cold days of June when you were studying hard or sitting exams in Canberra? Today is such a day. However be warmed in this edition of Alumni E-news by invitations to events interstate and in the UK, and by news of our Alumni making news. Our Profiles feature a sea-change environmental scientist who now makes a living from his art, and an American who lives in Germany but travels the world working from wherever with her ANU degree. We have such interesting and diverse alumni, as our group of 45 who are travelling to Cambridge in July attest. A report of that ANU Alumni Visit to celebrate Cambridge’s 800th year will feature in the next edition.

Best wishes,

Christine Keller Smith
ANU Alumni Director
