Awards
Lionel Bawden won the 2009 Wynne Prize for the sculpture The amorphous ones (the vast colony of our being). Awarded in conjunction with The Archibald Prize, The Sir John Sulman Prize and The Dobell Prize by the Art Gallery of NSW, the prize was awarded to Lionel for 'the best example of figure sculpture by an Australian artist'.
